red
Hi all!
Beauty Bible are looking for testers! Be quick though as the spaces are limited - they need around 500 more but the spaces fill quickly. There is a cost of £30, but this more than covers the cost of the products so if you are okay with that, it is worth it...
Here's how it works: Go here : http://www.beautybible.com/tester_panel.htm
Fill out the form, wait for an email asking for your details and a link to make the payment (through Paypal) or instructions about sending a cheque in.
Go for it and hope loads of you are successful and try loads of great stuff!!!

To cover postage and admin costs for the people packaging and sending them.
The thing that I don't get, is that they surely make money on the book so why not write it off as tax deductible?Lost lbs =

I'm in the middle of testing the last lot of stuff. Had to pay £20. Agree, not sure why one has to pay to test something and £30 is a bit steep - why not just charge for postage if you have to? The stuff I got was valued at over £100 (the most expensive being some M Lab body cream) and the cheapest a 99p tin of Vaseline! You also get the chance to win a £250 goody bag for filling in the feedback on the products afterwards.0

I paid £30. The items arrived on Friday. I got some lovely products from brands such as Darphin, Clinique and Lancome. I was very happy with what I got for the money I paid and I have started using some of the products already.
This is the second time I have been part of the testing and I will happily do it again and again.0 -
I did this about a year ago.
I think I paid £28.50.
I added up the cost of the products and at that time they were worth £175.
For most people you probably wouldn't pay for the items included e.g. £30 for a powder compact, so one way to look at it is that you get to try some items that you would never pay for.
I do think it's a lot to pay for P&P though.
I know it costs them admin time, but I think it's very expensive just for that..
Even if you included one hour of time to walk to the post office, at minimum wage that's less than a tenner and surely they do them in bulk, so it shouldn't take one hour.0 -
I have been a tester on three separate occasions.
I paid nothing the first time; £25, if my memory serves me right, the other times.
Six people are "employed" (not sure if that word is correct to use), to sort, pack and distribute cosmetics.
I would prefer to pay £20 to be honest, but in their favour my goods added up to well over a £100.
Some of the oils I received were so good I use them constantly now.0
