I was just sent this Email from Krispy Kreme, saying if you go to the shops and say "yes we can" they will give you a free Americano.



To celebrate the upcoming inauguration of the 44th President of the United States of America, we are treating our customers on this side of the pond to a Free Americano!
From Monday 12th - 16th January 2009, leading up to President-elect Barack Obama's inauguration on the 20th January, customers can visit our stores and live the "Americano dream" with a complimentary coffee.
Simply visit one of our participating stores and declare "Yes We Can" to a member of our team to receive your coffee. With coffee as good as our doughnuts, while there why not treat yourself to a Cinnamon Bun, our feature doughnut for Janua

Got my free coffee at Euston this morning, just as I was leaving a chap was asking for his second cup that morning..... there's a poster on the front of the cabin at Euston stating the offer, my have to stop off there again tomorrow morning

Got my free Americano today! There was a big sign out front advertising the free drink. In the 15 minutes that I was there, only one other person asked for the free Americano... I wonder if it is one of those things where people assume that there must be a catch*

The guy was really friendly and I didn't have to buy anything to get the Americano - although I must admit I did spring for a raspberry donut !:p
