You can use the cream you use on your face around your eyes for a super cheap - and easy - option.
I've been doing this, with light and heavier creams, and my eye area is fine, if anything it feels better hydrated than it has in the past with specific eye creams.
Otherwise, All about eyes by Clinique is quite good (but not cheap), or the Aldi eye cream, forget what its called, seems to be a good one too (I've not tried it, but read good things about it)..We got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic.

Sounds good - def more my price range!! Haven't used a specific eye cream before but reading lots of mag articles re detox over Xmas, it seems to be a basic necessity. Area around my eyes sometimes gets really dehydrated when around air con or central heating...0
