Best StakeHolder Provider?

Can anyone comment on who, from their experience, is a good reliable StakeHolder pensions provider? I have a stakeholder at the moment but am not that enamoured with the customer services and was thinking of moving to a different provider....

There is no one best option. Quite a lot of poor quality examples but when it comes to the top end there isnt a lot of difference beyone things like online access to values, fund range and discounts.

  • I was thinking of switching from Virgin to either Scottish Widows or Legal & General - your view?

Thats just about the worst stakeholder provider out there. So, anyone else would be better.

The SW personal pension is better than their stakeholder. L&G have fund based discounts which makes them a good option for internal funds but their PPP isnt very good if you want external funds (compared to others).

You are looking at the right providers but dont rule out the personal pensions.

I had a PP from Scot Widows until recently for my protected rights, and I did not find their customer service to be anything to write home about........at one stage I was trying to change funds, but gave up in frustration at the incompetance of the people I had to deal with.
