Getting through to Woolwich/Barclays on telephone

It is awful! Does anyone else have any problems getting through to an agent? I hate the stupid automated questions at the start (4 mins worth before going into a queue) and then after a further 10 mins I gave up...

...what I am trying to find out is how much I can overpay by per year. Is there a limit, such as 10%? Some companies have a limit and some have no limit.

    I'm on a Woolwich tracker mortgage and my limit is 10%.

    Does it not say on any of your paper work. If not then I suggest you persevere on the phone.

    I can't find my paperwork, which is the problem. My husband 'helped' last week by putting a load of stuff in the attic and now I can't find anything.

    Thanks though. Those menus are so annoying, it would be good to know how to bypass them.

    You could easily try pressing any of the buttons and when you get through to the wrong department apologise and ask them to put you through. But I guess it's trial and error at finding the shortest route to get to a human being.
