Have a look at this excellent forum -
http://www.avforums.com/forums/ps3/698643-best-ps3-console-deals.html
I would also check HMV, Game, Gamestation, Argos and Zavvi (where open) for instore deals.
PS3 is an awesome piece of kit, you will enjoy it.
Good luck with the hunt.0 -
Try and get a bundle deal as they are usual the best value. A lot of shops might price match against the internet so find a cheap online deal (from a well known retailer) and take it in store to show the manager.
It worked for me as i got my xbox 360 for the online price but was able to take it home that day and didnt pay postage. Save a few quid as well0 -
You can get them free with new mobile phone contracts (if you need a new phone) the phone you'll get wont be top of the range but it depends whats more important to you
a search in google for "mobile phone with free ps3" should get you a lot of results on this0 -
I am looking for this too, any suggestions. I'll take a look at that AV Forums meanwhileWycombe Till I Die0

And aggressive at pushing an overpriced HDMI cable at you too. If you do go to Currys just remember that any cheap HDMI cable will do the same job as an overpriced 'Monster' one. They're a digital signal & therefore either work or don't......;)
Definitely check out the PS3 section at AVForums, there's a dedicated thread about bundle deals there.....What if the Hokey Pokey really is what it's all about !!!0 -
