Help!! My hubby has never really taken much notice of his pension schemes, he has moved job several times each time starting up a new pension. Is there a way of finding all his pensions and lumping them together... I have no idea who they are with and neither does he. He worked for about 4 different companies over a 12 year period. Any advice would be great.:o

The Pension Service runs a pension tracing scheme. You have to write to them and give them as much information as possible (company names, dates of employment, etc). They then write back but they only give you contact details which you have to follow up yourself anyway.
The best thing is for your husband to sit down and make a list of names, dates, etc. and then either call or write to the individual companies concerned - after all, it's only four. A good start might be the accounts or payroll office.0
