Right been to Cornwall before 4 years ago at Looe Bay, lovely place

We want self catering none of the holiday caravans after previous years not bothered about dining out and getting drunk

We want a reasonable priced holiday place that can sleep 3 adults and 2 kids we are all mature and kids are in middle teens

We like the area around North/middle Cornwall near coast but we have visited up there before. We like some history and fun parks etc.

Any suggestions.

We really need a break haven't had one in 2 years now and my daughter isnt good on her feet (disabled) but can walk a little

Around infracombe or barnstaple area will do

Ex-Pat Brit living in Florida - our last 2 holidays "back home" we stayed in Devon/Cornwall (and we are again this year). We have used HelpfulHolidays.com - not sure if it will be as cheap as you want but they are great cottages and the staff are great too.

  • ;) Hi savemoney. I live in Devon but usually holiday in Cornwall at a place called Perranporth just past Newquay or St.Merryn nr padstow. My daughter is disabled and both places are fairly good for her.
We normally stay at Higher Harlyn Holiday Park in St.Merryn Tel: 01841 520022 http://www.higherharlynpark.co.uk or Perranporth Camping and Touring Park Tel:01872 572174
These are both lovely friendly sites for families with an array of static caravans. Higher Harlyn is the bigger and better of the two in my opinion.
I don't know if you know, but if your daughter has a disability you could possibly apply for a holiday grant from the family fund http://www.familyfund.org.uk/ towards the cost of your holiday or towards day trips etc.
    I hope this helps.

try www.tredinnick-barns.co.uk- they have a small barn for rent and also do B&B- well recommended!
