Are there any 'cashback' type sites where i can save even more.......... I want the LG Renoir phone.... Does it matter. I know nothing about the cashback type sites as i'm kinda new to all this so any help, info appreciated THINK cashback sites for dummies

I've used carphonewarehouse cashback and so far so good:

I've used e2save in the past and really struggled to get back the last couple of cheques so wouldn't recommend them at all.
Hope that helps0 -
Do you mean cashback sites like Quidco, where you get a percentage of your spend returned to you when you click through to one of the sites they list?
Or do you mean a cashback deal on the phone, where you pay the monthly contract and get cashback from the company who sold you the phone/contract?0 -

I've had a phone from Dialaphone (with Quidco cashback on top) - very happy with the deal and have received the DAP cashback cheques on top.
I've not been so happy with the T-mobile bit - don't know whether this is the same as other providers but they charge calls by the minute, so if you call someone and are connected for 1 second it still takes the equiv of 1 minute (in my case 20p) from the allowance (my son on Orange doesn't seem to have the same problem)0 -
Have a look on the mobile phone board and check out some of the deals others have got..... i am on o2 and have been for a while.i spoke to retentions and have got 600 mins and 1000 texts for £5 per month 24 month contract...obviously no phone but i was very happy and bought a phone outright..still saving a fortune though:j:beer: Am thinking of a new one:beer:0

i recently got a new contract with Vodafone through Dialaphone. However i first went through Mrs Cashback. this is the deal i ended up with
Cashback (mrs cashback) - £60 for a new contract
cashback by redemption (dialaphone) - £65 over the 18 months
Free Samsung G600
200 mins and 1000 texts
Nintendo Wii and Wii game
total cost - £30 per month.
After 9 months i am entilted to lower my tariff if i wish to.
was very pleased with this deal. :j
i always use Mrs Cashback for any purchase i make online such as car and house insurance etc and have never had any problem with them paying up.0 -
looking at this phone for hubby and have found it £15.90 per month after cashback for 12 months plus an extra £40 via quidco which breaks down to £12.57 per month. Its a clearance model (returned within the 7 day, checked and re-boxed) on t mobile 300mins and 200 text per month.
LG KC910 Renoir deals. Compare LG KC910 Renoir0 -
See below the letter i have sent to my local mp regarding mobile rainbow. As many of you know you should not deal with this company (SEE THIS FORUM)
Probably wont do any good but i will keep everyone posted
Dear James,
I wrote to you some time ago regarding Msols ltd who sold mobile phone contracts on behalf of Vodafone and others. Their promise of refunding line rental in the form of cashback didnt materialise. They owe me £420 which I pursued via the small claims court. I didnt go ahead with the hearing as I found out that many had tried, obtained a ccj, paid for bailiffs, only to be told the warrant couldnt be served as there was nothing to take because the company are trading from a virtual address. I understand from your reply that the company was, at that time, being investigated. I have since contacted Companies House who confirm that this company is compliant with Company House requirements. In other words, in spite of numerous county court judgements, a blatant disregard for contractual obligations to refund money to most/all of their customers, this company is unbelievably still trading. Although I lost £420, I felt reassured that, through investigation, at least this company would be wound up. Please could you investigate and tell me how a company can continue trading in these circunstances. Yours sincerely

Please see the following extract taken from Companies House records. As you will see the company is active and currently up to date with it's filing requirements. I can confirm this company is currently compliant with Companies House requirements.
