I'm no expert but it look fine to me.
    Good luck. :D
  • Modify it a little bit. Expand on some of the job history. For example, "As you can see from my time at XXX, I have had XXX experience in XXX, using XXX equipment." type of stuff. Monster.com has some good tips for covering letters.

Try to find the name of the person to whom you are sending the application - and therefore can avoid the Sir/Madam salutation. If it stays as Sir/Madam end with Yours faithfully. If you get a name to use, end with Yours sincerely.

Almost no one would say they weren't self-motivated, conscientious or hard-working. It's an opinion - have you demonstrated these qualities in the application form? Similarly you write of skills and qualities but don't say what these are. It might be useful to spell out what these are (using a bulleted list if you like to make it easy to read) - and ensure they are included in the application form.

"I hope" is not as confident as simply saying you look forward to hearing from them.

Good that you are saying your skills would benefit them.
