Hey peeps, I asked my dad to clean the oven at the weekend but as this is my house I dout this will get done at all.

Sooooooooooooooooooooooo I will ask this how on earth do I get a grime and grease soaked oven clean. I did once take the glass out and now the seal is split so can not do this again oops.

Can you really place the grimy disgusting shelves in the bath tub and what pray tell do I bath them with and how much.

Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee help as I may tackle this job myself.

I know a few people have been scrubbing away like mad at their ovens over the past few days, but seriously, ammonia in a small container left overnight in the oven will loosen it and then there is far less scrubbing.

Grrr! The appointments line has only been open from 8.30 and they'd already run out of appointments for today! I only need a new lot of the pill, but apparently the nurses available can't prescribe that, so I've got to go after work on Friday to pick up a month's worth and then have to book another appointment within that month.

My doctor's like that too, on the plus side they give me a years prescription of the pill at a time. Much better than my old gp who would only give me 3 months:confused:

Do you have a family planning unit attached to your local hospital?
If so, they will check your BP and give you the pill.......or try your local chemist, some pharmacists are prescribing and are able to (if you have been a regular customer) borrow of your usual prescription!!

ETA....they will usually ask if your stuck!!!

    Happy Birthday to Miss A!!

    *hugs* to Mudbath

*hugs* to everyone else who wants/needs one cos my brain aint working to remember anything else thats been said

Didnt fly at all yesterday due to work as predicted. So need to catch up. BUT i feel pooooooooooooooooop!! Lately everytime i do something energetic or go out anywhere i feel rubbish the next day.. i feel like every joint and bone in my body is aching and i feel exhausted. I cant even muster the energy to lift DD properly today so shes plonked in her highchair with toys and Cbeebies

Still havent made the PO but sent one thing with OH to work cos he has to go the post office himself today and my mum said she may take the other stuff i have (couldnt give it all to OH as he'd get confused as all needed different things and didnt trust him to get it right :rotfl: ) . Feel awful asking people but i really dont have the energy and my anxiety attacks have started again when i go out and the post office for some reason really aggravates them... know i should face up to it but I just dont want to today :o

If anyone has SKY One and watches "Noels HQ" over next few weeks/months my OH might be on it! :) They were filming in Liverpool One yesterday and they staged something with a woman struggling with a heavy suitcase to see if any member of the public would help her carry it up some big steps...

OH stopped to help her and then got stopped bit further on down the road and asked him could they use the footage they'd taken of him on the programme and he agreed.... (he was in his work uniform too so cant be missed as its very obvious and so good PR for his employer which impressed his manager when he got back in.... hope they remember this when they consider his application for the promotion.. :rotfl: )

Anyway if i feel up to it this is my list for today:

    Monday - living room/hall/stairs
    Level One
Declutter the living room , hallway and stairs

    Extras
    1. Wash the windows and sills
    2. Wipe out the fridge
    3. Run the WM through a clean cycle.. clean filters and door seals first!

    OK ATTENTION PLEASE

I shall pick up several of these tomorrow (assuming they have got them and assuming they are about £2!) so all those who want one or more let me know and I'll 'sort it' ;) can always get some more next week if people are not desperate for them.

You are both more than welcome over, or we could meet in the middle! A flylady meet up sounds like a great idea. The money not a problem as I do all my banking on t'internet so I can do as soon as you let me know :) Will pm you in a mo :)
HomeSpun - yay! Well done :T

Thank you - I have checked it this morning and it is still sparkly :D:rotfl:

Pigpen - photos now. Pigpen photos NOW .... etc

But I'm off to my bed. If I can get the dog off the pillow end. I have flown. I have been extremely grateful to the advice from everyone about my damp bits. And look forward to some more from HomeSpun's hubby.

I have also applied for an OU course in digital photography. This is not like me. I swore a long time ago I would never study again. But, I have committed (at least I've paid the fees!). I can only blame my fellow fly ladies who are also studying. And I will cast blame:

    IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!

But I love you all for it

Due to my inherent need to rush to the toilet every 10 mins and then pass out on the sofa, I haven't even spoken to him yet :o. I will collar him when he wakes up :).

I'm studying with the OU (as sig!) - it's great fun and I enjoy but I'm one of those students that needs a deadline to get into it. My next TMA is due on the 29th and then I start a new course next month so I'd better get to it!

I have my shelves soaking in a hot strong soda crystals solution in the kitchen sink at the moment, having run them through the DW yesterday. Just tested and the muck that's left (the DW did most of it) is just wiping off. I didn't measure the Soda Crystals, just shook a load in till the water was really cloudy!

Homespun you didn't eat your breakfast on monday - i hope the tummy is better!

I haven't eaten breakfast all week :o. I struggle with it and if I eat before about 11 it makes me feel sick so I have to retrain myself to eat in the mornings by getting a bit earlier every few days. Unfortunately I haven't even tried this week yet :(

I think last nights problem was the fact that I had a marmite sandwich and crisps for lunch and then....... a marmite sandwich and crisps for my dinner whilst watching CSI :o. I was so busy during the day yesterday I didn't have time for anything else and I couldn't bring myself to use my newly cleaned oven last night :o. I will, however, make an effort to eat properly today (if my stomach stops, it hasn't yet :( )

Sorry this post is long, had a lot to catch up on.

Happy flying ladies, back in a bit when his nibs gets up and to update my list.
