Problems with Topcashback

Hi,

I recently claimed a payment from topcashback, and although the payment has supposedly been paid into my account, I've not had the email saying they've made the payment and the money hasn't gone into my account.

Is their a fix or resolution on this, or is it simply a case of hassling topcashback?

  • When did you claim the payment? It does normally take a wwek or so until it shows into your account.
  • It was december 18th and it's still not happened, and no email to confirm payment

  • Thats definately not right then , very odd. Would've thought it would be easy enough for them to sort out , you'll have to get onto them.

    Good luck

If you click on the "Payments" button, you will be shown a list of your payment requests. If it has "payment sent" it means that it has been processed and by clicking on the "details" link it will give you more info on how and when it was paid. If it has a date for payment yet to be made instead of a payment sent date, it means that the payment hasn't been processed.

Either way, if it has been processed and you can't see it on your bank statement, or if it is still pending, drop them an enquiry email via the website. They are normally pretty quick to respond to stuff.
  • Hi guys
I have been complaining about my account not working for weeks and even after several emails, I am not given any satisfactory reply. Now I have been told that my account is terminated and will not be re-enabled. I have been accused of being linked to other accounts and for fraudulent activity. I have only one account and my understanding is topcashback is just trying to keep my money by accusing for something which I have not done. And it does appear from the email that I am not their only victim.
I warn everyone to be careful before doing any purchase through topcashbak. They can accuse anyone of being linked to other accounts, terminate your account and keep your money.
Below is the response I received from topcashback.

    Hi there,
It has been spotted that your account has been identified to be associated/linked with a other recently terminated accounts that have also contacted us and they will not be re-enabled. This is due to the abuse of certain merchants across these linked accounts.

We have a duty to protect our merchants, so they do not withdraw their cashback offers to the thousands of genuine members that we have.

    Hi there,

@ peerjaksn – I hope that you do not mind me jumping in on this thread, but I understand that you do have questions and concerns as to what has happened ,and I felt compelled to put across to you some information which might help explain as to why you have had such an experience here. Please understand however, I cannot comment on anything specific to any Top CashBack account for obvious security reasons.

We ask that our members understand that as we are part of the transactional process, in referring members to make transaction on the websites of the merchants that we feature, we do have to do our part in monitoring activity that does go through us. Considering the volume of transactions via the many Top CashBack user accounts, we do have to have stringent anti-fraud measures in place. These measures are put in place to safeguard our members, the merchants we feature, any intermediary agencies and ourselves. Unfortunately, we are often placed in situations where we have to act decisively – as can be the nature of some findings.

There will, as might be expected with any system, occasions where incorrect conclusions are drawn or honest mistakes are made. It is for reasons such as this that we will always willingly accept any disputes that come our way as regards to intervention which might have had an effect on their Top CashBack account. In disputing any findings however, it is of course necessary for the member to co-operate with our requests in making sure that any misunderstandings are straightened out and any concerns are satisfied.

We would only maintain such a decision as you have described if we did have clear evidence to support this. We work very closely with the merchants that we feature (via their respective affiliate networks) to help identify and address any instances of fraudulent or abusive activity, and in decisions such as this we would of course verify our findings with them in helping us to take the correct action. It does appear that from what you have written, we have not been left with any other option.

    Kind regards,

    Ryan
