What happens to the pension fund if I migrate from UK?

I'm currently 32 and have no pension set up. I am thinking of joining my company's Money Purchase Scheme. As I have come from India, I have plans to move back in about 4-5 yrs time. What will happen to my pension fund?
Thanks

I am not sure why you want on onshore UK pension fund at all (unless your employer is contributing) given that you are presumably not domiciled within the UK and could therefore invest tax-free offshore.
The likely answer to your question is that if you do accumulate penson savings here is that the funds will remain in the UK unless a comparable Indian pension plan will accept a transfer.0 -
Thanks for the reply.
I am an Indian citizen. As you guessed, the company is matching 1.5 times.
+22% extra (tax benefit).
Indian companies do not have any pension schemes. Although the Indian Govt. does have similar Provident Fund (PF) scheme.0
