Hi, Just noticed that PC World selling Navman S30 for £39.97 collect from store + 2.5% quidco. Free map update also included.

    That would be the Version 2 though - if you search on the pcworld site, both turn up. The V1 is 39.97, the V2 - also available for delivery - is 79.99 plus delivery
    They promised the earth...and delivered mud. Technically though it did meet the spec.

    All of these reserve and collect type services (such as Argos, Comet, Currys, etc) are most likely based on the figures held by their central stock systems, if the individual stores don't keep those stock figures up to date (ie if they have a faulty one or have lost it) then the system will think they have stock available to collect when in fact they don't. Human error or the sign of an incompetent set of store staff...

    Damn frustrating when it happens to you:mad:
