errmmmm - I'll have hers, please, if she don't want 'em ;)!

The only place I've seen them on sale recently is in Farmfoods and that isn't in our main shopping centre.

My local Morrisons, Somerfield and Tesco sell them.

Not too long ago there was a documentary on the TV about the company looking for a family to be the new face of brains faggots. Apparently the winning family would win all sorts of goodies, and be featured in a nation wide campaign to increase the sales of faggot.

I don't remember the advertising campaign, but I do remember the daughter (or a female descendant of the inventor of brains faggots) and her family not winning.

I remember going into Somerfield and buying some at the time, because I had not had faggots since the 60's. Although I remembered liking them, and having great fun with my mates when we had faggots for tea. In those days the word "faggot" had a completely different meaning.

Anyway, I found out the brains faggots I bought at Somerfiled were not the ones my mother fed to me in the 60's.

Maybe we could be the 'face ' of brains fagotts? I could be the granny, sitting in the corner snoozing - until the faggots and peas are ready of course :D
