I saw this gamecube controller on offer http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5676154.htm
and i thought it was the official controller, however when i saw it (i didnt pick it up) i realised that it was not an official one but a budget one. i now want to return this but on the receipt it says that it cant be allowed for the 16 day guarentee. Will i still be able to take it back and get a refund, because the picture fooled me in thinking it was the official one, when it was not?

Probably not worth the hassle for 99p. Doubt they would take it back if it is excluded. There is nothing to say that it is an official one. I'd cut your losses and use it or flog it on eBay.Accepted offer on our house - Sept 2006

I asked for 3 memory cards, got 2 (Must have forgot to give me one). On the receipt they only stamped twice so I can claim for the other, although for 99p it is simply not worth all the hassle and stress at the moment.
Maybe when I go there again to buy something

aye, but since i brought 4, its nearly £4, so its not exactly nothing really0 -
Why not just use them until they break for the sake of a quid each and really £4 isnt exactly a fortune either is it my step son gets more than £4 for doing a paper round so its buttons really. I have the official controllers for the gamecube that have all broke and the ones you are saying at 99p i have and are still going strong0
