New Look - Further Reductions, Especially Boots

I bought a pair of cowboy style ankle boots for DD yesterday in tan reduced from £35 to £15. I also bought myself a pair (or so I thought) of tan ankle boots reduced from £40 to £10 as well. Turned out I had picked up 2 left feet. When I went back this afternoon to sort out my error, DD found the same cowboy style boots in black, which she said she preferred. Ok, I thought, she can have these and next week, I will return the tan ones. The black ones went through at £7 today. Nice mum that I am, I said, when I return the tan ones, I will buy them again for £7. I also found a lovely pair of black suede boots, reduced from £50 to £15.

The New Look in Watford is fairly large, and there was still a fair amount of sale stuff left.

DD1 has vouchers left for New Look - is there an immediate hurry to spend them then?

OMG I wish people would stop speculating, it doesn't help the current climate with all this talk. Yes we don't want people to lose out on their vouchers but it just seems at the moment that every store is going under!!!

I'm sure New Look were one of the only companies to have great profits over Xmas. The main people who shop there (11-20) have so much expendable cash so dont care about the credit crunch.

The one that do still shop there as its cheaper that other shops. I cant see them as being at risk!

DD tried on some cowboy boots on Saturday which had been reduced from £50 to £30. I said to wait until they went down again. Today when I went in they were down to £15, so being the good mum that I am, I bought them for her.

Was in Belfast Boucher Road branch today and got ankle boots for £3 (originally £35) and leopard skin pumps for £1 (originally £20). Very limited sizes available, but bargains are there!

I was in the Glasgow Fort one last night but was only looking at the girls stuff for 9-15yrs, they had mostly summery stuff like denim shorts,vests and summery tops. We were lucky and picked up a really nice knitted shrug for three quid which my daughter loves but she didn't like any of the shorts so left them on the racks.

Couldn't see any sale shoes for her, got loads last time in the size she was in and the next size up, she is now wearing the next size up so was worth buying them!
