I spotted an offer in my local Marks & Spencer cafe this morning:
Buy any item from their 'hot food' menu and get a hot drink FREE.
So I ordered a toasted teacake and a regular mocha - total to pay £1.17 (inc VAT reduction) No questions or any eyebrow raising from anyone when I got a free drink that cost almost twice as much as my brekkie!

OP is def right it is any hot food, including toasted tea-cakes as I got this deal last week!0
