Hi can anyone give me some advice when attending a job interview nxt wk.I applying for a post as a pharmacy assistant in the NHS.I havent had a interview for about 8 years now so im nervous.

Have a good think about your reasons for applying for this job and why you are suitable for it, coming up with examples of things you have done.

Pick out your interview outfit in advance, making sure you have something smart to wear that helps boost your confidence. The clothes we wear can have an impact on how we feel, as superficial as that might sound!

If you're really nervous, you might benefit from thinking of possible interview questions and grilling yourself in front of a mirror. Once you feel a bit more confident, practise on a family member or friend rather than a mirror!

Remember that you've been offered an interview because you are a good match for this job. All you have to do is reinforce that message in person. Interviews can be really daunting, but a little practice can take the edge off.
