free cholesterol testing kit from tesco grocery (merged)

Hi. My kit arrived today as well. I had forgotten all about it.
I have just done the test and my result was in the lowest level (green smiley face) so I presume that is good. I am pleased about that because I am a butter monster and like loads of butter on bread, toast and mashed potato. I know I should cut down but I can't resist it.
The test was easy to do once I had deciphered the instructions. Just read them carefully and then follow them step by step. The lancet didn't hurt and was very quick.
It will be interesting to see if anyone gets a different result as that would give an indication that the test does actually work. Off to butter some bread for my lunch.:shhh:0 -
i recieved mine today, i'd forgotten all about itwins so far:- absolutely nothing, not even an arguement:mad:0

Got mine yesterday!
First thing i did was click the lancet not realising it was use once (makes sense i suppose!)
Then when i finally did it the colour turned out pale red not like any on the card! The reds all looked the same shade so very confused.
Think i give up on this one! shame!
Hope other people were more sucessful...:starmod::starmod::starmod::starmod::starmod::starmod::starmod::starmod::starmod::starmod:0 -
I'll be looking out for mine, not sure how reliable they are, does it tell you to fast before taking the test. My mum had one at the doc's and the level was very high (7), then had a free test done at the pharmacist where you wait 10 mins and get the results, it came out at 4 ?!?!?0

Just do it, you losertron!!!
It's not very painful at all. You will hardly even feel it and it only lasts about 0,0001 seconds.0 -
