  • I like the way an Elle umbrella is nearly three times the price of a set of Elle bags :D

Makes me wonder what that brolly is made of.

    Elle Womens Umbrella Silv...Price:£6.84

    Elle Womens Three Piece V...Price:£2.92

Matalan were selling the umbrella's for £5 last week. wish I had seen this thread sooner!

Thanks again to the OP, I got my package with lots of fab things in ... all for gifts throughout the year!

The Elle bags have a £49.99 price tag on them, not bad for £2ishhh! I ordered 3 sets, wish I had ordered more now but I think my family have sussed onto my money saving antics when they all the male members got exactly the same gift this Christmas!

Lots of lovely toys for my little chap too.

Glad the people that managed to get the bags are pleased... I haven't seen mine yet cos I had them send it to my Ma's address. Sounds like it will take some will-power to not keep it for myself (bought for friend's birthday) lol.
    TOP MONEYSAVING TIP

Make your own Pot Noodles using a flower pot, sawdust and some old shoe laces. Pour in boiling water, stir then allow to stand for two minutes before taking one mouthful, and throwing away. Just like the real thing!

Well, mine have arrived....and tbh I am not sooo pleased, they are nice, but much smaller than I expected, and look almost cosmetic bag like rather than handbag like ifyswim.

Maybe it's just me,but no way are they worth the price on the tag, clearly worth the price I paid, but the object of the exercise was to buy gifts which looked worth much more than I paid, not sure that has been achieved.

Be interesting to know if anyone else agrees?
  • i was dissapointed, as i ordered 2 cosmetic sized bags and 2 handbags, but only 1 cosmetic sized bag came, and they said the rest were out of stock.
so really i paid £7.00 ish for the cosmetic bag (inc del) wouldent have bothered if i known that.
3 wonderfull kids :female::female::male:, 1 fab hubby  , 2 beautifull cats and 1 very large dog = my family!

Got a letter today telling me the bag I ordered was unavailable. Not sure why it just didn't say that on the website when I placed my order. I'm quite miffed, I only ordered the one bag :(

    Thanks OP anyway.
