Cheap Watch Batteries pretty please?

Hi, hope this is the correct forum....

Can anyone tell me the cheapest place to buy watch batteries taking into account delivery costs. I probably need around 10 in total.

I'm not too bothered about quality, they don't need to last forever but as long as they don't leak easily, perhaps silver oxide kind.

I see some good prices then 'thur-whack'... £5.99 delivery!!!

Appreciate your replies as ever.
 Can anyone explain to me how to put a signature here?

I've just been to Thimpsons, they do a 'lifetime' battery for about £17 and then after that each replacement is free, they give you a little card to take with you, good value I thought

markets and / or pound shops do big packs of about 10 for a pound or 2. make sure you know the number of the one you want though as they are in packs so cant try them out before you buy

I always buy mine from poundsaver or poundstretcher. £1 for about 50 on a card - and they work!!

Yeah I have only ever bought watch batteries in poundland, they usually come on a card with 4 or 5 of each size (sometimes more of the popular sizes)

Just make sure you know what size you need (I think they usually start with AG)
    Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently! ;)

It's worth googling the battery type number first as the same battery may have 3 or 4 different numbers.

For instance, I needed LR44 button cells. Poundland's ones looked identical except that all the batteries on the card only had AG.. numbers. It turns out that AG13 is exactly the same as LR44.
