As far as I see it you have 2 options regarding SOA - is it a joint business or you on your own? Sole trader? You could either split the income or have all the income for yourself and for your wife's SOA put income 0, OH contribution£? Regarding the phone, if you use your mobile for business you could deduct it from your income and put that amount for income ie £1340 and take it out of expenses.

My mobile will already have been taken out as i include both as a business expense. so i better just delete it. the £400 is maintainance payments from wifes ex partners, we are a partnership. at what point will the OR order an IPA i.e is there a minimum surplus before they consider it

The car isn't an asset, put it on the forms under 'do you have use of a car belonging to someone else'

The maximum surplus before an IPA can be taken is £99 + child benefit.
