Hi All
Just thought i'd share my good news....! :j
Got accepted for an egg card today. Now I can finally transfer my extortionate overdraft onto it and start bashing away at it!! (Currently pating £40 a month interest on it!!)
I know some of you may think getting credit to pay off credit but I don't see it that way to be honest. My way of thinking is I don't have to fork out for that bloody interest!!!
Cheers
LL

If your paying less interest/fees, that means more debt being paid, so thats always a good thing0

Excellent news loubie!!
I've just been online to my bank, and it would help if the mortgage company HADN'T taken the mortgage twice this month!!!!!!!
So I phoned them to get one back and it turns out that I'm £440 better off this month!
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
Oh dear Linda I hope you didn't incur any charges because of their incompetance?!In debt no more!0

I'm even happier still today.
I've managed to be accepted for the Cahoot Loan (yes even at the 5.6% 'typical' rate).
I'm not borrowing more its basically to save me some interest from my 7.9% egg loan!!
3 years to be debt free still isn't close enough for my liking!
