  • Right i will explain why this is so complicated. I am working at the moment but off sick and will prob be handing in notice and leaving in may. So the way i have worked out income is:

    5mths @ 1400 - wages.
plus my other part-time job 3mths @70 then 3mths @140 (will have more hrs) and 6mths at 210 (will be doing 6hrs) - can do more hrs in part-time job if i do leave full-time job.

tc/wtc currently 864 mth and that is for 5mths then remainder 7mths at 500 as will only be doing part-time job

When only working part-time for last 7mths will get almost full housing benefit as low income so 7mths @700.

Total is 23,818 for the full year. Divide by 12 mths is 1984 a month. So this month i will get 2765.60 but am saving 781 ready to cover the months when i won't be getting full pay from full-time job (if i do decide not to go back)

Also looking to change gas electric and mobile supplier along with cancelling my £18 mth weight watchers subscription. So above mobile 40 will be 30 in about mth and a half.

REASONS: why i may leave full-time job. Am signed off sick with post-natal depression officially but stress has made this worse. I am 10 per month better off working as i have to pay full-time childcare for 2 of my children and wrap-around care for the eldest. The job itself is ok apart from having to study for a degree and nvq level 4 at the same time making it extrmely hard to fit around 3 children under 5! I am not 100% decided on whether i will return as i am in no fit state to make a massive decision like that but i am planning as if i will leave

I do have a part-time job as swimming teacher and if i do leave work will have more time available. I am currently doing 2hrs a week and brininging home 70. The work is there so i have been saying 4hrs in 3mths time then 6hrs in 6mths, although realistically it will be more than this.

    Hope this helps
