PC World - Buy now pay in 6 months

Hi, I'm on the road to a debt free 2010 and I bought a laptop in 2008 which I decided to get on a buy now pay in 6 months basis - well.. i think this was the right choice at the time as I didn't have the money at the time and i'm a 'get it now' person.. which obviously led me to stubble across now becoming a member of 'money saving experts'.. anyway..

I got this laptop and signed whatever papers they gave me and asked how I pay and they said that they will send me a welcome pack.. i got a call about a month later asking me to confirm my address so they could send it .. so i did... i am still to receive this welcome pack. i have the money and want to pay it off but February is the last month to pay for it!!! So i'm getting stressed! I have written to PC World and if still no answer then I will go into the place I bought it with my receipt! But I was just wondering if anyone else has heard of or had this trouble and what to do.. I dont want to be fooled into being entered into a credit agreement, which I signed for but do not want.. as I refuse to pay stupid amount of money for something that will take 2 years to pay back!!

Your help is gratefully received.

Helen

  • Hi, yes I did.
  • I've never had anything on finance from them, but there should be a head office address on here maybe you could speak to their customer services and see if you get anywhere with them.

I'm sure someone will be a long in a moment that has had dealings with them.
