Hi everyone :j
I was looking for a new credit card with £6000 limit to pay my current loan off with so I thought I would see what my credit score was using experian, my score was 999 out of 1000.
Can this be right or sould I try a different company?
Many thanks

The only Q's they asked were my address and how long I had lived there, etc
It did list all of the credit that I have had over the last 5 years or so which was all up to date.
do you think I should try another company?0 -

It doesn't really matter what Experian think .. their credit "rating" is just their opinion based on your credit record.
Different lenders score people in different ways e.g some will score those that are homeowners higher than those who rent, even if the "homeowner" has a mortgage.
In any event, if you want a credit card to pay off a loan, then you have a limited choice - as you need a credit card that enables you to balance transfer to your current account. AFAIK, only Egg, MBNA & Mint allow this and there could well be a one-off fee for doing this. Have a look at the main MSE site for cards that allow "Super Balance Transfers"Warning .....
