Disney Store refund question

Hi

Does anyone know what the Disney store refund policy is?

Dad got Mum a dressing gown for Christmas but Its not quite right and with all 3 of us having various colds and not being out much, we forgot about it, Dad got it on 12th Dec so we might well be past the refund date.

I could take it back tomorrow but Its on Dads card so I doubt If Id get very far!

Might be better to keep as a gift if we cant get a refund?

Not sure but I'd try it. A lot of the shops have a refund policy for 28 days after Xmas. The worse they can say is no !

You should have the usual 28 days or so anyway but Disney are exceptional in their refund/exchanges, or at least they were when I worked there.
During my training we were given the example that a man was instructed by his wife to return the 3 piece suite they just bought and she said it was from the Disney Store. She went off to work, he loaded the suite and took it back and asked for a refund.
The DS, after extensive discussion, DID refund the suite, due to some part of the policy about the customer is always right and setting an exemplary customer service standard.

I can't be sure if this happened in the UK or US but my training was in the UK, so, unless it's all changed, you should be absolutely fine.

Also, in my experience, you can exchange items, even one someone elses card or if you take the card in, they can refund back onto it, even if it isn't yours.

Obsessing about remortgaging and interest rates all day, every day:)

Thanks for help/advice. My Dad did get to the store today and got a full price refund - said the staff were very helpful there:T I have always found the Disney staff really nice, Disney and Lush staff seem the most helpful and friendly bunch out there!
