I was in this exact same situation in 2005

My income would flactulate between £100 and £700 a week. I contacted creditors and they were undertsanding and I agreed monthly token payment. However , I did find life a lot easier when I had manged to get some part time evening work and could split that pro rata. Unfortunatley , the business and my life was unsustainable in this enviroment and I did have to go back into full time work.

Honesty and copies of all accounts is the way forward.
