Does the homegrown menu include vegetarian stuff? Sounds like it should do, but you never know!

Very bizarre, my partner put his details on about 3/4 hour ago and he hasn't had the voucehr either. I wonder if we are doing something wrong.....We ticked the first 2 boxes and left the last one blank
I can't look into the future, but the futures where I'm walking to
  • I could forward you on my voucher if you like Clara? They are all generic anyway, with no details on etc. Just print off.

Just PM me with your email addy and i'll forward it on you :)

    xx
  • There is a box at the bottom of the form that must be ticked in order to 'opt-in' to the offer. If you don't tick it you won't get the email.

If it's anything like what happened to us last year in Birmingham when we used the voucher then I wouldn't bother!

We were sat down at the table - 6 of us with menus etc. and when the voucher was mentioned we were treated with SUCH disdain. Sure we were there for a cheap meal but actually quite happy to use the discount to supplement the drinking of some nice wine - you only got a glass last year. The proper menus were snatched away, including the wine list! We were asked if we wanted red or white and they then proceeded to remove all the wine glasses from the table as well without ever asking if we wanted any other drinks.

It's fair enough if you don't want anything else (you probably won't if you get a full bottle) but to be treated like a piece of dirt really got my back up. I could afford to eat there and pay full price if I wanted - the news is that I will never do it there. Someone needs to inform their staff that it's January and that deals like this are designed to bring in custom in a quiet period and introduce new customers. It really gets my back up when I go to a decent establishment and the people that work there think they are superior to you (it was more than one there as well) - sorry to be blunt, but I am not the one waiting tables :o

They were serving up properly raw chicken to everyone around us (not just me, they were getting sent back all over the shop) then charged me full price for my replacement dish which I had to eat after everyone else had finished, oh, then they added someone elses bar bill of over 100 quid to our restaurant bill! After my SIL had got wat she thought were the relevant deductions made, we then ended up dissecting the bill entirely and discovered that one friend drinking a particular lager hadn't in fact drunk 7 bottles over dinner(!) and that 5 of them were also from the other party. We were then told that 'we had already accepted the bill' and they were expecting us to pay for stuff that we hadn't had because we hadn't highlighted it the first time round!

What a pigs ear of a night that was. Stayed at Oxford again recently and the service there has gone downhill big time as well. I thought that was the best hotel I've stayed at in this country initially :(

Never been before, but might see if my OH wants to go for Valentines (I know 13th/14th are excluded but we can go on sun he he!)

Doozer Girl, did you complain about the bad service in Bham?
Sometimes if you go higher up you get better service, some customer sevice teams will bend over backwards to keep your custom!
