Help, Account fraud with Abbey!!

I know of someone I work with who has had a huge amount of problems with Abbey which only resolved themselves when she wrote to one of their Exec. Even the branch staff held their hands up and said that there was little they could do given that it was all being dealt with by different departments.

If you send them anything, make sure it's recorded otherwise they will just deny you ever having sent anything.

They insisted repeatedly that i did not have a savings account, which took about x phone calls and several visits to sort out, and then failed to send me any accounts relating to my ISA, even though i was supposed to get statements.

It just really gettin me down at the moment because the money i had go in that account was the only money i am able to survive off at the moment. what really gets me is their way of business, in my whole 3 - 4 years of having an account with abbey, i have never had any amount of that was anywhere close to the £24 k, not even to £1000, the closest is my student loan which is £886, so how the hell would they expect me to have such money. It's ridculous
