Gas and electric query again

Another gas/electricity query. Has anyone got a new account post bankruptcy or just prior to it and if so who with. Just had a bill from N Power (my current supplier) and we are behind. We move to our rented house in a few weeks (we'll have both houses until repossession goes through) so just wondering if just prior to my bankruptcy I can get utilities say with British Gas at the new property then include the N Power deficit in my BR.

If not I will have to find the money to pay N Power and transfer it with us as I really do not want a prepay meter xx
I cant change the past, but the future is mine to play with!

    Hi completemess,

I am currently switching from Npower to Scottish Power. The last meter reading has been done and my account with Scottish Power became active yesterday. My BR day is Monday. I will be getting a final bill from Npower which I intend paying - I could put it into the BR pot but I want to try and keep things as smooth as possible and will be asking the OR if I can pay it out of my January surplus.
This does and doesn't answer your questions but at the moment it is anything for a quiet life and I don't want to make too many waves!
