  • Hi stickysituation

Your child benefit does not form part of an ipa. Re your sisters car I don't know whether or not your OR should allow it or not, someone more experienced than me can help you with that but I think what you spend your surplus money on is surely up to you so using it on transport won't be a problem.

Fingers crossed you don't get an ipa - i'm hoping for the same xx

  • ps I see what you mean re the child benefit. Is it paid to you? My husbands details aren't on my claim so only listing it on my SOA x

  • Yes child benefit paid to me so on my SOA but not hubbys
  • Well my understanding is you won't get an ipa then unless your income changes before discharge :-)

If the OR disallows the car then you will have to make a claim for travel for public transport :D. You can then use this towards the car :D
