in Cutting tax
sold a 2nd house i had as it was loosing me money. i sold the house for the same amount as what i bought it for therefore i didnt make any profit.
do i have to tell the inland revenue? (i have to do my tax self assesment)

Hi Wardrobe
If you got more than £32,800 for your property then you should include it on your tax return even though you didn't make any money.
Rules on property can be a bit messy, especially if you ever lived in the house you sold, so it might be a good idea to contact HMRC to get their help filling in your self assesment form.0
