Not your typical freebie but got very lucky today. Took my son and hubby bowling, cheaper before 6pm and just took some cans of pop to save buying their drinks. Just as we were about to start, we got asked if we would mind moving lanes(the new girl must have booked us in wrong lane), I jokily replied "that must deserve an extra free game" to which the guy replied, "I would love to but I can't, I can get your son a free slush puppy though". Pleased with that, pays to be cheeky and I'm sure it was large (1.75)!

I had also taken my sons wallet with 2p's as I knew he'd be attracted to the arcades on the way out. Being nearly six, he was not so impressed by the 2p slots and wanted to go on a driving game, we agreed he could but the machine didn't work and our pound coin got stuck. When it came out it brought another pound along with it so he got 2 rides on different games for the price of one. A successful trip I'd say - 2 adults and 1 child bowling, slush puppy and 2 driving games for 7.20!:rotfl:
