Does anyone know if there is any info on the above on this site?
I've tried to search but can't find any, I'd like to read up on it and see if it would be an option to us.

That's not what I meant, sorry. I must have got the name of the thing confused.
I thought there was some mortgage you could get where you own say 75% of the property and the bank owns the rest (although they own it all really until your mortgage is paid off anyway)0 -

I dont think that scheme is in place yet. However housing trusts run shared ownership schemes (I bought first time that way) where they sell some of their new builds as shared ownership. They also sell on part shares when people want to sell up.
Getting on the lists is the easy bit, actually getting allocated a property is the hard bit0
