Choc-O-Bloc @ Odyssey

Good Morning all

Just a quick question! Has anyone been to Choc o bloc at the odyssey. Its a chocolate factory for kids where they can melt chocolate and press into moulds etc. Was thinking of doing this for my soon to be 5 year old daughter. Its about 7 quid a head but no food is provided although pizza hut and bar buddha do food at reduced rates for customers.

Just wanted something different from the usual jungle jims or leisure centre party. Definitely dont want 20 kids trapsing through my house trashing it!:rotfl:

Thanks!
oooooooh i luv a bargain :)

  • I've never been to the one in the Odyssey but was at Choc@bloc in Bangor for my friends daughters party. The kids all had a ball and I thought it was very well organised. In Bangor they had a room at the back and my friend just brought her own food. HTH!

PS. I would rather do this than have 20 kids traipsing through my house too!

Sounds like a great idea, you should see if they will do a reduced deal for the high number of children with you, also check out storm kiddies club on a Saturday morning at 11.30am they are reduced rates

I havent been to choc-o-bloc but some girls in work have, and they had a great time, they thought it was very well organised and the kids loved it

Hope you have a great time

  • My daughter had her 8th birthday party in the Odyssey choc-o-bloc last September. It was great - staff really friendly and made sure all the kids knew exactly what to do.

We went on to Soda Joes for lunch before going back to collect the chocolate the kids made. Soda Joes offer a discount for choc-o-bloc parties also but they wouldn't allow us to use it as there were too many kids (about 15)! However, the food and service was great for the kids.

The birthday girl / boy gets a special gift for choc-o-bloc in their chocolate bag - a free trip back.

    Would definitely recommend.
  • Don't know when the party is but if it's before or on 1st Feb you could get the Pizza Hut voucher for 50% off your food bill, just check out MSE homepage for vouchers. Also, if going to Soda Joes and have Tesco vouchers you could redeem them online and get Tesco Deal Tokens to use there.
