    Was he sober?:p

Yes!!!!!!!!!! Cheeky!!!!!!!!! That's my one and only romantic story!!!

He had been going to do it on Christmas Eve but we stayed with his parents so he said he had wanted to wait.

Maybe he was drunk, we were engaged for 11 years before we split and he never made any sounds about us marrying other than 'we'll marry when you are a size 14' ...........I certainly pick 'em..........

Maz, I'd actually rather run with you lot, but that Leeds run is only 5 days before the TT concert. Wouldnt want to injure meself ;):D

The Manchester run is only 4 months away. Not sure i could get fit enough by then :o

look at last years results if you can find them... you'll see loads of walkers coming in around 2 hours or more... that's a good indicator of whether you'll be the only one.... 3miles per hour is general walking pace....

i wouldn't expect to be running it from zero training.... but walking or even run a minute, walk for 5 would bring it down to 1hr 45 mins... some might say you shouldn't run/walk but it worked for me and is a recognised training plan....

If there is any advice/help i can give you, then please ask... remember i'm your twinny so i can relate!
