what do i say to bank

Going to hopefully sort out removing my name from joint bank act tomorrow (barclays) what do i tell them the reason is -do i say i applying for bankrupsy or a little white lie? i have outstanding credit with them i think (barclays partner finance) for some sofa's bought on 6mth intrest free will they know about this and try and take the money from joint act before my name is removed (this is going as one of my debts). do I ask them for a cash card act or do I go to co-op
do you think they'll want to see hubby aswel or can i just request this?

You don't have to tell them anything, just that you need to seperate your finances. Make sure you both go in together to do this.
