Peak/Off Peak

When a gym mentions off peak and peak hours, does it mean that if you are an off peak member you have to leave by a certain time or you just have to get in before the cut off time?

I'd suggest checking with the gym in question: different chains may have different arrangements.

I'd guess you had to be in before the cut off time, because it would be really tedious to check people weren't overstaying. But that's a guess.

At Virgin you have to be in by a certain time, around 4.30pm, and you cant use the club at weekends
