I have just had paypal ring me and take all my details, does anyone actually know how long it usually takes them to let you know if they can assist with doing an IVA. debts total 40k all unsecured and 170 per month available to pay them. ta people

i spoke to them for the 1st time 2 weeks ago tomorrow (monday) they took my details. Arranged for soemone to call me back on the friday which they did. spent an hour and half on the phone!
Had the papers yesterday to sign and return. So i guess al in all about 4 weks from start to finish to get everything set up ready to go from next month

170 a month over 5 years is just over 10k. That is quite slim for a 40k debt unless you have equity in your property that you can agree to release after 5 years.
