Got to go BR - can we survive

Hi guys, so sorry to whinge but Im having a real 'are we doing the right thing' panic attack at the moment...

Already entered story on other threads. After all info, now looks like OH and I have no choice but to declare ourselves BR. CAB, CCCS advise and yest IP advice too. IVA impossibility etc..

Yesterday I was all pleased on hearing this (decision made for us) and was againa looking for rented accom (we are in NI, partic anti-dog and mega hard to find rented accom with 5 mutts) as we plan to give up our house.
We have £200k int-only fixed rate mgage, payments £968 mth, OH wage just covers mgage, no surplus income, infact deficit of £60-100 (depending on who does calculations), me on incap benefit & medical pension.

Tonight Im really down because I am 40 this yr, OH 40 last year and Im very low about the fact worked all life with nothing to show for it... (wrked 18yrs for Civil Service before medically retired 2005) Can we survive BR???? I've read so many of your stories on here where no one appears to have regretted going BR but does this mean we are going to have to struggle to find rented accom all our life?? And be plagued with stigma of being anti-Brs
(sorry to all br's - dont mean to offend/appear judgemental, honestly) just way Im feeling all negative.

Sorry if it seems I have all my priorities wrong - I do have depressive health probs so struggle with that stigma too :o so im probably just having a bad afternoon/evening - saw psych yest and medication altered so could be that??
Im just petrified now that we wont be able to get through this, wont find place to live blah blah blah. Only OH and I in NI. We are English and all our family in England so quite isolated and lonely.
 Im also confused about this business of 'family buying interest in your home' or is this only if your house is not in neg equity.

Sorry for the moan - OH thinks its wonderful to be moving but he is Mr "Im so laid back Im horizontal" and also hasnt coped with any of the financial issues which I have, even whilst I have been very ill

Whilst I think about it, how do you get early discharge/d?? Ive seen a few of you have and just wondering how?
Lisa
