Hi My husband has been recently made redundant. My question is, if we have savings and I work full time would he still be entitled to contribution based job seekers allowance?
Thanks for any help.

As it "says on the tin", contribution-based is just that, based on his contributions via NI payments as an employee.
Savings and your income only enter the equation if he were still to be unemployed after six months.0 -
And then only if you have over £16k (I think) in savings it makes any difference to income based JSA.0
