    Hi,
Thanks for the tip I managed to get one of the Karcher K294M today in Blackburn.

Now I need a long hose pipe to go with it .Does anyone knows of any there are any good deals about at the moment ?

  • I recently purchased one of these however I was a little disappointed as the washing tablets that are used for so called cleaning power don't seem to be cleaning the car that well - not much foam to breakdown the dirt/grease.

I expected to use the power blaster and all the dirt would lift off but it is not as easy as that as I had to do it again with the brush attachment.

Anyone know any good cleaning detergents for these mahines?

    Thanks in advance.

Yes I found that but I put Car Wash in the detergent unit and used the brush to clean the car then hosed it down with clean water. Now my car is nice and clean.

Even if you go to the local garage and use their power washer you have to clean your car with the brush and shampoo.

  • I just thought i would throw this in, i got a £69 karcher from argos works great had the screws for the handle missing but karcher sent me replacements.
I actually run mine from a water butt due to the garage being a long way from the house as the mains pressure is low but enough to top it up and i can do two cars on one water butt.
Karcher do a filter and suction hose for use in ponds, rivers ect but i use normal hose as it is clean water.

Karcher do a foaming attachment, it has a little yellow bottle which you put in about 1/4 full with car shampoo and dilute with water, it turns your car white with a layer of foam, thwn you can use the brush etc...

If anyone wants a cheap hose, B&Q do a 30m reel with fittings for just over a fiver! Works a treat with my karcher....

these aren't in the most recent catalogue, but are still online. Does that mean shops won't get anymore in, do you think?

Thats correct, they won't be available in the new range as they are enbd of line. Best check online for argos in your area and see which one has one in stock the closest, I struggled and luckily managed to get a store 100 miles away to send to my local store.... If you can get on its a good bit of kit for the price.
