Where to go in Belfast on a Friday?

I'm going out tomorrow night for a few drinks with some friends but we don't usually go out on a Friday and don't know where's good!
We're not planning a 'big night out', just a few drinks, maybe the chance for a wee dance later on!
Any recommendations?

Cafe Vaudeville is good. Has a good mixed age range although the alcohol aint cheap! Northern Whig is good too. We were at La lea a few weeks ago and wont be back!Only went because we got free tickets for eating in Irenes! I dont know what age u are but we are in 30's and it was full of 17-24 year olds.oooooooh i luv a bargain

Cafe Vaud is full of posers!

If you are looking for a good place to have a drink and catch up to begin with before going on somewher else, I would highly recommend RGB - it is the bar beside the new Park Inn hotel where the Belfast Superbowl used to be. Really well decorated, very spacious, comfy seats and good atmosphere!Norn Iron Member 3830 -
The parlour is good, can sit downstairs and chat and music on later. Or move uptairs for a dj but have to pay. Or the Eg. It has 3 drinks for £5 from a long list! And cocktails £2.

Still on the subject of nites out! I picked up a card for a local taxi firm in Belfast that have women drivers only. You pay a fee to join as a member cant remember how much it is. Havent used them yet. Has anyone heard of them or used them? They are called Homing Taxis.oooooooh i luv a bargain

Friday's are going to be my night to go out now so thanks for all the suggestions.
We ended up just going to Wetherspoons purely for the cheap drink but it was a bit carp to be honest!0 -

It only opened a couple of weeks ago, but is good! Like I said, it is where the superbowl used to be.
I wish other bars would copy Weatherspoons and lower their prices!:beer:Norn Iron Member 3830
