Building a website advice needed?????

Hi, I have a website with a shop and a bought it through www.mrsite.com. I can't do html or any of that and with this you don't need to as they do it all for you. It also has a paypal shop which i have found easy. Any problems and you can just call Mr Site. You just choose the back drop, upload photos etc. I would say if you can work ebay you will be able to work this. I would give you my site details, but this might be classed as advertising. So pm if you want to see it.

Oh if you do buy Mr Site don't buy directly from them. You can get the baisc website for £24.99 and Pro for £58.99 through www.shop4giftsonline.co.uk which is a much better deal. If you want to use the shop and direct traffic to your site, I would certainly go for the pro as it really is interesting and helpful for marketing. The website is then your for a year... no more fees!

you could get all that. Probably the trickiest thing would be the domain name, you used to be able to get co.nr domains for free, maybe you still can, but it might not give you a completely professional image.

Reliability of free hosting might also be an issue, and it might take a while to find a decent one that doesn't require adverts on its pages.

To be honest Lauren, if your idea is a good one then its worth investing some cash in order to prevent problems with hosting in the future and to make sure that hosting stays running smoothly with a decent hosting company. I doubt very much if you will be able to get everything for free.

No I dont think you could get it all either, The problem is its not a business, its something I would want to spilt the profits 50%-50% with charities when I acheived the goal. but i dont want to be made to pay tax or have the idea seen as an income.

It the idea could set or break a world record eventually.
Just waiting to hear if they will accept the idea, if they will i'm going to go for it i think.

Looks like for £50 with Mr Site i could set it up for the year.
Can you add things like google-adwords and tradedoubler to those sites?

Yep you can have Google adwords the lot!!! I also have and Amazon widget on mine!:j
