the 23rd debt - a bit of fun

I was on a training course yesterday, which included talks about finance and debt management, ( that was the part I was speaking on as it is the area I work in) and this variation on Psalm 23 was read out at the opening session -
"The Credit Card is my shepherd - I will always want
It makes me live in the land of not enough - it leads me into debt
It leads me in the pathe of pressure and worry
Yes, even if i walk throught the valley of shops, I will fear no price
For my credit card is with me
My mastercard and my visa card comfort me
It prepares a table before me of goods i can not resist in the presence of my family and friends
It annoints me with boldness to buy things I can not afford.
My debt runs over
Surely worry and debt shall follow me all the days of my life.
I will dwell in the house owned by the bank for ever"
It made a few people laugh - but it is so true.
