friends from work are arranging their mortgage with northernrock (I think) or nationwide. They are saying the rate is 3.99, is this right.

I looked at that offer but the fees involved where very high. I decided to stay with Halifax for my house move. 4.59% fixed for 2 years and I persuaded them to scrap the £499 arrangement fee totally.0
