Why not just let HPC'ers have a freee-for-all?

They've never bought a house, they will never afford a house, and will moan until the end is nigh..

Boring

There must be one entrepreneur amongst these people who will see a niche and make a fortune.....Maybe not....

Come on people ...come up with some ideas.

I have lost interest, but can see at least 4 ways of making goodf money from this.

Mind you, just sit on your backsides and wait for someone to give you a million pounds....Jeeeeeeeez

btw, this board (as far as I can see) isn't about making money - it's about saving it.

    1 way to make money.

    1. Get derelict Aussie farmland. (I think) you get a grant for returning it to productive use.
    2. Get some goats and some fencing. Clear the land with the goats section by section. Sell the goats for meat.
    3. Plant native trees (again, I think you get a grant for doing this) as the goats clear the land.
    4. Sell the land as forestry. People will invest in forestry for their pension.

    I guess I'm a 'HPC'r'

    I have bought 3 houses
I have a afforded a 2 bed semi, 2 bed detached bungalow and a 4 bed detached house.
I don't think I moan excessively, no more than average.
Boring ??. It is the house price forum, dont' like it ?, move along.
4 ways ??, please enlighten us.
Sit on backsides ??, I work 6 days a week (pretty good in the current climate). I can't imagine anyone sitting around waiting for someone to give them a million pounds, although most, including you i suspect, would take it if it was offered.

Sweeping generalisations, are a dubious way to start a new thread. Especially with little substance to back it up, or in the this case, none.

I am a HPCer. I do own a house and don't expect to move again. However I have 2 sons and have for several years hoped for house prices to return to an affordable level for their sakes.
