My son was after this game at Christmas but I am glad I waited. We checked the price at Asda and it was still £29.99. I couldnt't find it cheaper anywhere else.

Great price, I need it on the XBOX though

Must be a overstock IMO, as most stores can have it ordered in from the warehouse to be collected next week if OOS.
Which is unusual for sale items

Can't you buy this version and trade it in at one of many gaming stores for the XBOX edition? Pretty sure they would offer more than £9.99 credit for a sealed pretty new release!0 -
Good idea

As a general rule of thumb you can work out the price of a trade in depending how much they sell the game for :
I have not traded many in the last couple of months, but certainly before that you could expect :
£7.99 = £2/£3
12.99 = £6.00
16.99 = £10.00
19.99 = £12.00
24.99 = £16.00
29.99 = £20.00
I did notice though that in the last 6/9 months prices of games in general have fell a lot. i..e often most new games you can usually find somewhere for £20/£25 in the high street as some kind of deal of the week type thing. And I think that sometimes they adjust prices if they start to get a lot of the same copies.0 -
Having worked in GAME for a few months I would say that your trade in prices are slightly inflated...
eg. £19.99 new, would be sold approx £12.99 used and there has to be a profit for them in there...0 -

The prices I was quoting was the Pre-Owned price at Gamestation. So if they sold a pre-owned game for £19.99 they would give you £12 trade-in value for it.0 -
